William Senter 
William was born on March 19th, 1786 in Cumberland Co., North Carolina.1 William's father was Henry Senter and his mother was Rebecca Avent. His paternal grandfather was Stephen Senter and his paternal grandmother is Mary Unknown; his maternal grandparents are Peter Avent and Amy Massey. He had four brothers named Drury, Aaron, James and Stephen. He died at the age of 72 on December 26th, 1858 in Humbolt, Gibson Co., Tennessee.1 General Notes
