John Pinkney was born on November 5th, 1881 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 John Pinkney's father was William Conway Senter and his mother was Elizabeth Comelia Kelley. His paternal grandparents were James C. Senter and Frances Jackson. He had six brothers and four sisters, named C. C., James Conway, William Alvin, Thomas Smyth, Henry Partain, Edgar Russell, Frankie Jane, Jeffie May, Rosalie and Dora. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 61 on January 16th, 1943 in Burleson, Johnson Co., Texas.1 -
