John Henry Salmon 
John Henry was born on February 9th, 1863 in Randolph, Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 John Henry's father was John Anderson Salmon and his mother was Mary Ann Tutor. His paternal grandparents are William Salmon and Nancy Smith; his maternal grandparents were John Henry Tutor and Martha Patsy Betts. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Silas A, James Andrew, Catherine Loretta, Henrietta McClain, Nancy Sabetha, Penetta A. and Aresta. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 63 on November 20th, 1926 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
