Henrietta McClain Salmon 
Henrietta McClain was born on May 9th, 1852 in Cumberland Co., North Carolina.1 Henrietta McClain's father was John Anderson Salmon and her mother was Mary Ann Tutor. Her paternal grandparents are William Salmon and Nancy Smith; her maternal grandparents were John Henry Tutor and Martha Patsy Betts. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Silas A, James Andrew, John Henry, Catherine Loretta, Nancy Sabetha, Penetta A. and Aresta. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 84 on April 23rd, 1937 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi. She was buried in Salmon Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
