Aresta Salmon 
Aresta was born on February 28th, 1861.1 Aresta's father was John Anderson Salmon and her mother was Mary Ann Tutor. Her paternal grandparents are William Salmon and Nancy Smith; her maternal grandparents were John Henry Tutor and Martha Patsy Betts. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Silas A, James Andrew, John Henry, Catherine Loretta, Henrietta McClain, Nancy Sabetha and Penetta A.. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 49 on February 5th, 1911 in Randolph, Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
