Armelda Ritchie 
Armelda was born on August 30th, 1869 in Fisty, Knott, KY.1 Armelda's father was Joshua Ritchie and her mother was Nancy Hall. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Grigsby Ritchie and Kissiah Smith. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph R., Felix, William Gladstone, Abijah, Robert Lee, Isaac Burton, Elizabeth, Serrilda and Polly Ann. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 70 on January 9th, 1940 in Bonneyman, Perry Co., Kentucy. She was buried in Bonneyman, Perry Co., Kentucy.1 1 General Notes
