Isaac Burton was born on March 4th, 1887 in Perry Co., Kentucky.1 Isaac Burton's father was Joshua Ritchie and his mother was Nancy Hall. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Grigsby Ritchie and Kissiah Smith. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph R., Felix, William Gladstone, Abijah, Robert Lee, Armelda, Elizabeth, Serrilda and Polly Ann. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 59 on September 2nd, 1946 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
