Serrilda Ritchie 
Serrilda was born on April 2nd, 1878 in Clear Creek, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Serrilda's father was Joshua Ritchie and her mother was Nancy Hall. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Grigsby Ritchie and Kissiah Smith. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph R., Felix, William Gladstone, Abijah, Robert Lee, Isaac Burton, Armelda, Elizabeth and Polly Ann. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 66 on November 21st, 1944 in Carrs Fork, Perry Co., Kentucky. She was buried in Cornett Hill, Sassafrass, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
