Susan Catherine Oxley 
Susan Catherine was born on February 18th, 1833 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 Susan Catherine's father was Enoch Oxley and her mother was Elizabeth Smalley. Her paternal grandparents were William Henry Oxley and Jane Binley; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin F. Smalley and Mary Liggett. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Lawson, Everett, Mary Jane, Cynthia Ellen and Sarah E.. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named James Louis, Sophrania Ann, Rachael Victoria, Victoria and Prudence. She died at the age of 78 on March 2nd, 1911 in Phlugerville, Texas.1 General Notes
