Sarah Elizabeth Marbut 
Sarah Elizabeth was born about 1871 in Pulaski, Giles Co., Tennessee.1 Sarah Elizabeth's father was Phillip Henry Marbut and her mother was Martha Ann Bassham. Her maternal grandparents were Levi Sampson Bassham and Sarah Smith. She had four brothers and a sister, named James Wesley, Harry, Debe William, John Nellie Blye and Mary Amby. She was the oldest of the six children. She died about 1955 in Wewoka, Seminole Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
