Levi Sampson Bassham 
Levi Sampson was born on August 14th, 1825 in Tennessee.1 Levi Sampson's father was Richard Basham and his mother was Pheebee Pinnicuff. His paternal grandparents were Archibald Basham and Winna Jons. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William D., Thomas Archibald, Samuel Frederick Howard, Winnie (Minnie), Mary, Nancy, Francis P. and Tempa Malinda. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 67 on March 28th, 1893 in Limestone Co., Alabama.1 General Notes
