Ollie Bell Marbut 
Ollie Bell was born on May 11th, 1908 in Covington, Hill Co., Texas.1 Ollie Bell's father was James Wesley Marbut and his mother was Effie Mae Pendergraft. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Henry Marbut and Martha Ann Bassham. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James Ray, Joe Roy, John Drue, Faye Elizabeth, Artie Mae and Ruby Jeanette. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 10 on October 29th, 1918 in Covington, Hill Co., Texas.1 General Notes
