Faye Elizabeth Marbut 
Faye Elizabeth was born on April 29th, 1903 in Covington, Hill Co., Texas.1 Faye Elizabeth's father was James Wesley Marbut and her mother was Effie Mae Pendergraft. Her paternal grandparents were Phillip Henry Marbut and Martha Ann Bassham. She had four brothers and two sisters, named James Ray, Ollie Bell, Joe Roy, John Drue, Artie Mae and Ruby Jeanette. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 14 on February 3rd, 1918 in Covington, Hill Co., Texas.1 General Notes
