George Pleasant Keahey 
George Pleasant was born on October 17th, 1825 in Scott Co. , Mississippi.1 George Pleasant's father was George Jackson Keahey and his mother was Margaret Keahey. His paternal grandparents were John Keahey and Martha Jackson; his maternal grandparents were James Keahey and Mary Jane Jackson. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Preston Gustavius, John Robert Jackson, Martha Graham, Margaret Malinda, Virginia Caroline, Irene LeJane, Sarah Emaline, Mary Ann Demarious and Christian Mason. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 47 on October 21st, 1872 in Drew Co., Arkansas.
