Martha Jane Keahey 
Martha Jane was born on September 5th, 1863 in Tyler Co. Texas.1 Martha Jane's father was George Pleasant Keahey and her mother was Susanah Berry. Her paternal grandparents were George Jackson Keahey and Margaret Keahey. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William A. Byrum, James Jackson, George Stephen, John Milton, Andrew Washington, Margaret Malinda and Abigail Christian. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 68 on August 23rd, 1932. She was buried in Butler/ Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lincoln Co., Arkansas.1 1 General Notes
