Samuel Durbin 
Samuel was born in 1698 in ,Bristol, England.1 Samuel's father was Thomas William Durbin and his mother was Mary Downs. His paternal grandfather was Christopher Durbin; his maternal grandfather is John Downs. He was an only child. ‌Samuel and Ann were married in a religious ceremony on July 4th, 1723 in St Pauls Episcopal Parish, Ownings Mills, Baltimore County, Maryland.1 They had eight sons and five daughters, named William, Samuel, Thomas, John, Nicholas, Christopher, Edward, Benjamin, Sarah, Ann, Margaret, Mary C and Honor.
