John Durbin 
John was born about 1734 in Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland.1 John's father was Samuel Durbin and his mother was Ann Logsdon. His paternal grandparents were Thomas William Durbin and Mary Downs; his maternal grandparents were William Logsdon The Immigrant and Honora O'Flynn. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named William, Samuel, Thomas, Nicholas, Christopher, Edward, Benjamin, Sarah, Ann, Margaret, Mary C and Honor. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died about 1831 in Christian County, Illinois.1 General Notes
