Perry Lee Combs

Perry Lee was born in April 1893 in Perry Co., Kentucky.¹ Perry Lee's father was Jeremiah Combs and his mother is Rosanna Engle. His paternal grandparents are Jackson C. Combs and Mary Young; his maternal grandfather is Henry Engle and his maternal grandmother was Leanna Grigsby. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Cleveland, Fielden, Spencer, F., Nancy, Rachel and Benjamin. He is the fourth youngest of the eight children.
