Benjamin Combs

Benjamin was born in October 1896 in Perry Co., Kentucky.¹ Benjamin's father was Jeremiah Combs and her mother is Rosanna Engle. Her paternal grandparents are Jackson C. Combs and Mary Young; her maternal grandfather is Henry Engle and her maternal grandmother was Leanna Grigsby. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Cleveland, Fielden, Perry Lee, Spencer, F., Nancy and Rachel. She is the second youngest of the eight children.
