Fielden was born on October 23rd, 1891 in Perry Co., Kentucky.1 Fielden's father was Jeremiah Combs and his mother is Rosanna Engle. His paternal grandparents are Jackson C. Combs and Mary Young; his maternal grandfather is Henry Engle and his maternal grandmother was Leanna Grigsby. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Cleveland, Perry Lee, Spencer, F., Nancy, Rachel and Benjamin. He is the fourth oldest of the eight children.General Notes
