Lucinda Hurd was born on December 12th, 1824 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 Lucinda Hurd's father was William Cherry and her mother was Frances Taylor. Her paternal grandfather was William Cherry; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Taylor and Sarah Best. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Taylor, Allen A, John, George Washington, Bailey Harrison, Frances, Mary Ann Eliza, Sarah and Charlotte. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Obadiah, Samuel, John, Frances, Jane, Lavina and Nancy. She died at the age of 98 in 1922.1 -
