Nancy Cherry 
Nancy was born in 1796 in EDGECOMBE COUNTY, NC.1 Nancy's father was William Cherry and her mother was Lottie Hopkins. Her paternal grandfather was William Cherry. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Obadiah, Samuel, John, Frances, Jane and Lavina. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Joseph Taylor, Allen A, John, George Washington, Bailey Harrison, Frances, Mary Ann Eliza, Sarah, Charlotte and Lucinda Hurd.1 -
