John Cherry 
John was born in 1821 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 John's father was William Cherry and his mother was Frances Taylor. His paternal grandfather was William Cherry; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Taylor and Sarah Best. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph Taylor, Allen A, George Washington, Bailey Harrison, Frances, Mary Ann Eliza, Sarah, Charlotte and Lucinda Hurd. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Obadiah, Samuel, John, Frances, Jane, Lavina and Nancy. He died at the age of 22 in 1843 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 General Notes
