Philip "VI" was born in 1293 in Fontainebleau.1   Philip "VI"'s father was Charles "I" de Valios and his mother was Margaret de Sicile.  His paternal grandparents were Philip Augustus "III" de France and Isabel de Aragon; his maternal grandparents were Charles "II" de France and Mary de Hungary. He had a brother and four sisters, named Charles "II", Isabelle, Jeanne, Marguerite and Catherine.  He was the second oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Jean, Louis, Catherine, Jeanne, Isabelle, Marie, Isabelle and Blanche.  He died at the age of 57 on August 22nd, 1350 in Nogent-le-Roi.  He was buried in 1350 in St. Denis.1 1
