Jeanne was born in 1294 in Fontainebleau, Seine Et Marne, France.1   Jeanne's father was Charles "I" de Valios and her mother was Margaret de Sicile.  Her paternal grandparents were Philip Augustus "III" de France and Isabel de Aragon; her maternal grandparents were Charles "II" de France and Mary de Hungary. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Philip "VI", Charles "II", Isabelle, Marguerite and Catherine.  She was the third oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Jean, Louis, Catherine, Jeanne, Isabelle, Marie, Isabelle and Blanche.  She died in Valenciennes, Nord, France.1 


Jeanne's first family with William "III" de Hainault

‌Jeanne and William "III" were married in a religious ceremony on May 19th, 1305 in Chanay, Ain, France.1   They had two daughters named Margaretha and Philippa.
