Maria Thompson

Maria was born on December 25th, 1805 in Georgia.¹ Maria's father was William Pharoah Thompson and her mother was Nancy Ward. Her paternal grandparents were Balaam Thompson and Olive Melton. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Terrell, Balaam, William, James, Hannah and Rebecca Jane. She is the second oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother named Christian.
