Joseph Straley 
Joseph was born on July 14th, 1804 in New River, Virginia.1 Joseph's father was Jacob Straley and his mother was Martha M. French. His maternal grandparents were MATTHEW H. French and SARAH Payne. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Charles M, David, Leland, Daniel, French, Jacob Lynch, James, John, Catherine, Nancy and Sallie. He died at the age of 77 on January 29th, 1882.1 -
