Harvey Smith

Harvey was born in 1818 in Ranger, Cabell Co, Virginia.¹ Harvey's father was William Claudis Smith and his mother was Sarah Anna Hatfield. His maternal grandparents were Isaac Hatfield and Mary French. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Ballard, James, Isaac, Richard S, David French, Elizabeth, Elender and Cynthia Ann. He is the second oldest of the nine children.
