William Meadows 
William was born in 1825 in Virginia.1 William's father was John Meadows and his mother was Mary Harness. His paternal grandparents were James Meadows and Catherine Boswell. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Joel, John Hiram, Ambrose, Noah A., Susan, Elizabeth, Catherine, Mary, Lucinda F. and Matilda. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 52 on December 23rd, 1877 in Rockingham Co, Va. He was buried in Hensley Cemetery, Rockingham Co., VA.1 1 General Notes
