Sarah Meadows

Sarah was born about 1715 in Essex Co., Virginia.¹ Sarah's father was Thomas Meadows and her mother was ELIZABETH Wood. Her paternal grandparents were JOHN MEADOWS and ELIZABETH White; her maternal grandfather is RICHARD WOOD. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Reuben, THOMAS, John, Ambrose, Francis, Rachel, Esther and Elizabeth. She is the fourth oldest of the nine children.
