Reuben Meadows

Reuben was born in 1709 in Essex Co., Virginia.¹ Reuben's father was Thomas Meadows and his mother was ELIZABETH Wood. His paternal grandparents were JOHN MEADOWS and ELIZABETH White; his maternal grandfather is RICHARD WOOD. He had four brothers and four sisters, named THOMAS, John, Ambrose, Francis, Rachel, Sarah, Esther and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 in 1778. He was buried in 1778.¹¹
