Francis Meadows

Francis was born about 1721 in Essex Co., Virginia.¹ Francis' father was Thomas Meadows and his mother was ELIZABETH Wood. His paternal grandparents were JOHN MEADOWS and ELIZABETH White; his maternal grandfather is RICHARD WOOD. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Reuben, THOMAS, John, Ambrose, Rachel, Sarah, Esther and Elizabeth. He is the second youngest of the nine children.
