Ambrose Meadows 
Ambrose was born in 1719 in Essex Co., Virginia.1 Ambrose's father was Thomas Meadows and his mother was ELIZABETH Wood. His paternal grandparents were JOHN MEADOWS and ELIZABETH White; his maternal grandfather is RICHARD WOOD. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Reuben, THOMAS, John, Francis, Rachel, Sarah, Esther and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 76 on September 28th, 1795 in Bedford Co., Virginia. He was buried about September 1795.1 1 -
