William Hart

William was born in 1812.¹ William's father was Joel Hart and his mother was Rebecca Thompson. His maternal grandparents were Balaam Thompson and Hannah McSwane. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Andrew J, Jonathan, James, Jeremiah, Jacob, Joel, John, Mary, Catherine, Elizabeth and Julia. He is the oldest of the twelve children.
