John Hart

John was born in 1834 in Highland Co., Ohio.¹ John's father was Joel Hart and his mother was Rebecca Thompson. His maternal grandparents were Balaam Thompson and Hannah McSwane. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, Andrew J, Jonathan, James, Jeremiah, Jacob, Joel, Mary, Catherine, Elizabeth and Julia. He was the second youngest of the twelve children.¹
