James Warren Grass

James Warren was born in November 1888.¹ James Warren's father was Lacy Grass and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Beckett. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Charles Grass and Lucy Ann McComas. He had six brothers and a sister, named Charles Westley, James Frank, Thomas Newton, Maxwell, Benjamin Lee, Columbus and Lucy Ann. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 81 on May 7th, 1970.¹
