Benjamin Lee Grass 
Benjamin Lee was born on July 8th, 1883 in Lincoln Co, West Virginia.1 Benjamin Lee's father was Lacy Grass and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Beckett. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Charles Grass and Lucy Ann McComas. He had six brothers and a sister, named Charles Westley, James Frank, Thomas Newton, Maxwell, Columbus, James Warren and Lucy Ann. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 87 on October 9th, 1970 in Huntington, Cabell Co, West Virginia. He was buried in White Chapel Mem, Cabell Co, West Virginia.1 1 General Notes
Obituary: Benjamin Lee Grass, 87, of Barboursville, Rt. 1, died Monday in a Huntington hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 2pm at the Cavendish-Johnson Mortuary by the Rev. Carl Midkiff and Minister David Pettit. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Born August 7, 1883, in
Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Lacy and Eliza Beckett Grass. He was a member of the Baptist Church and Prosperity Lodge 472, Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. He retired from the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Co in 1952, after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife. Survivors incldue a daugther Mrs. Mabel Plybon of Barboursville, with whom he lived; two sons Frank Grass of Huntington and Thurman Grass of Ona; a stepson, Thomas A Cox of Huntington; 19 grandchildren nd 33 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday afternoon.
