James McComas 
James was born on June 5th, 1801.1 James' father was Elisha McComas and his mother was Annie French. His maternal grandparents were MATTHEW H. French and SARAH Payne. He had two brothers and five sisters, named David, William, Rebecca, Sallie, Eliza, Elvira and America. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 64 on October 4th, 1865 in Cabell Co., West Virginia.1 General Notes
