William Dean

William was born about 1860.¹ William's father was William Franklin Dean and his mother was Francis E. Meadows. His maternal grandparents were Thomas W. Meadows and Elizabeth Breeding. He had fourteen brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas Lindsay, Emanuel Whitfield, James, Solomon, Stephen, John, William Franklin, George Mitchell, Hiram Stephen, Thornton, Joshua Bishop, Wesley Amos, Bruce Wysong, Quinter, Melvyne Ardimis, Ardenia Frances, Clarinda C., Sidney Ann, Ardista Luraine, Armenta Belle, Eliza Elizabeth and Myriam Arbella. He was the nineth oldest of the twenty-three children. He died about 1860.¹
