Eliza Elizabeth was born on April 27th, 1870 in Rockingham Co., Virginia.1 Eliza Elizabeth's father was William Franklin Dean and her mother was Francis E. Meadows. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas W. Meadows and Elizabeth Breeding. She had fifteen brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas Lindsay, Emanuel Whitfield, James, Solomon, William, Stephen, John, William Franklin, George Mitchell, Hiram Stephen, Thornton, Joshua Bishop, Wesley Amos, Bruce Wysong, Quinter, Melvyne Ardimis, Ardenia Frances, Clarinda C., Sidney Ann, Ardista Luraine, Armenta Belle and Myriam Arbella. She was the sixth youngest of the twenty-three children. She died at the age of 75 on May 14th, 1945 in Greene Co., Virginia. She was buried in Dean Family Cemetery, Swift run Gap.1 1 -
