REUBEN Bailey 
REUBEN was born about 1761 in Bedford Co., Virginia.1 REUBEN's father was RICHARD Patton Bailey and his mother was ELIZABETH Anne Belcher. His paternal grandparents were JAMES Bailey and LUCY SIMMS; his maternal grandparents were RICHARD D. Belcher and MARY Obedience Clay. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John Payton, RICHARD Patton, James, Micajah, Archibald, Elijah I., Henry, Chloe, Naomi and Sarah Ann. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died in January 1846 in Tazewell Co., Virginia.1 General Notes
Found another record which indicates Reuben was born in 1770 and died in
1845. In his last will & testament recorded at the Tazewell Co.
Courthouse he left the sum of $.25 to his daughter Elizabeth Shrewsbury.
He remarried after Sarah's death.
Reuben Bailey's Will: "Reuben Bailey of Bluestone, being 75 years old.
Will probated January, 1846, Tazewell County Will Book No. 2, p. 325.
Devises his property as follows: To his wife Milley, to Barissa Waldron,
daughter of Samuel Waldron by his daughter Sally, to his sons, William,
Reuben and James; to his daughter Elizabeth Shrewsberry, and to his
sons-in-law, Thomas White, Reuben Tanetson, David Mills, Samuel Waldron,
