Her paternal grandparents were JAMES Bailey and LUCY SIMMS; her maternal grandparents were RICHARD D. Belcher and MARY Obedience Clay. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named REUBEN, John Payton, RICHARD Patton, James, Micajah, Archibald, Elijah I., Henry, Chloe and Naomi. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died about 1850 in Carter Co., Kentucky.1 -
