William Shepherd "Will" Thaxton 
William Shepherd "Will" was born on April 10th, 1852 in Ohio. William Shepherd "Will"'s father was Sheppard Thaxton and his mother was Martha J. McCormick. His paternal grandparents were David Franklin Thaxton and Sarah Sheppard. He had three brothers and six sisters, named James S., Levi A., David Leander, Mary E., Margaret S., Louisa R., Martha Jane, Nancy S. and Ellen C.. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 61 in 1913.-
