John W. H. Thaxton

John W. H. was born on November 16th, 1877 in Bedford Co.,Virginia. John W. H.'s father was John Anthony Thaxton and his mother was Mildred Frances Board. His paternal grandparents were William Henry Thaxton and Sophia Rucker. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert Clinton, Francis, Maggie F., Cleo Cephronia "Fronie" and Lizzie Sophia. He was the second oldest of the six children.
