Robert SUTHERLAND

Robert was born in 1795 and his baptism took place on April 19th, 1795 in Geise, Thurso, Caithness-Shire, Scotland. Robert's father is John SUTHERLAND and his mother is Christian HILL. His paternal grandparents are Hector SUTHERLAND and Barbara RIESS; his maternal grandparents are James HILL and Margaret FINLAYSON. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named James, William, Sinclair, Donald, Nicholson, Couper, Hector, John, (2) Isabella, Couper and Marrion. He is the third youngest of the twelve children.
