Couper SUTHERLAND

Couper was born in 1790 and her baptism took place on June 17th, 1790 in Thurdistoft, Thurso, Caithness-Shire, Scotland. Couper's father is John SUTHERLAND and her mother is Christian HILL. Her paternal grandparents are Hector SUTHERLAND and Barbara RIESS; her maternal grandparents are James HILL and Margaret FINLAYSON. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named James, William, Sinclair, Donald, Nicholson, Couper, Hector, Robert, John, (2) Isabella and Marrion. She is the fifth youngest of the twelve children.
