Thomas Neilious was born on September 16th, 1861 in , Coffee Co, Tennessee. Thomas Neilious' father was Wiley Preston SHELTON and his mother was Matilda Ann GIBSON. His paternal grandparents were Jessee SHELTON and Lydia KEELE; his maternal grandparents are James GIBSON and Nancy KEELE. He had eight brothers and a sister, named James K P, John Martin, Jessie Ervin, Stephen, Harvey Ransom, William Harrison, Bartley M, Wiley Wilson and Nancy Jane. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 on March 14th, 1935 in , Coffee Co, Tennessee.General Notes
