Nancy Jane was born on September 5th, 1856 in <, Coffee Co, Tennessee>. Nancy Jane's father was Wiley Preston SHELTON and her mother was Matilda Ann GIBSON. Her paternal grandparents were Jessee SHELTON and Lydia KEELE; her maternal grandparents are James GIBSON and Nancy KEELE. She had nine brothers named James K P, John Martin, Jessie Ervin, Stephen, Harvey Ransom, William Harrison, Bartley M, Thomas Neilious and Wiley Wilson. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 1 on March 19th, 1858.General Notes
