Constantine Perkins was born on December 17th, 1789 in Henry Co., Va. Constantine Perkins' father was Joseph F. SCALES and his mother was Ann Hardin PERKINS. His paternal grandparents were Joseph SCALES and Mary (UNKNOWN); his maternal grandfather was Nicholas III PERKINS and his maternal grandmother is Bethenia HARDING. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Nicholas Perkins, Joseph Henry, Robert, Peter Perkins, Mary ("Polly"), Bethania, Susannah, Anne Hardin and Elizabeth Letcher.
