Anne Hardin was born on October 31st, 1786 in Henry Co., Va. Anne Hardin's father was Joseph F. SCALES and her mother was Ann Hardin PERKINS. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph SCALES and Mary (UNKNOWN); her maternal grandfather was Nicholas III PERKINS and her maternal grandmother is Bethenia HARDING. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Nicholas Perkins, Joseph Henry, Robert, Constantine Perkins, Peter Perkins, Mary ("Polly"), Bethania, Susannah and Elizabeth Letcher. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 30 on December 12th, 1816 in Henry Co., Va.General Notes
